Flexible Learning Credit Transfer

Transferring Flexible Learning Credits

All credit courses, including flexible learning courses, offered through PSR or GTU schools are graduate level. PSR is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  Credits may be transferred to other institutions at the receiving institutions' discretion.

Many schools, including PSR, have limits on the number of online courses that may be applied toward particular degrees or certificates.  Be sure to know your online limits as you plan your academic program.

Progressing toward the MDiv or MTS

Some students in the Certificate of Theological Studies program later wish to apply to the PSR MDiv or MTS programs. Credits taken during the CTS may be applied toward these degrees. At least one online and one summer course each year will be designated MDiv core courses. Students considering an MDiv in the future should take one or more of those core courses. Students pursuing any certificate or degree must work closely with their academic advisor to select appropriate courses.
