Presidential Search Begins

September 6, 2013

The Presidential Search Committee established by the Board, and consisting of faculty, staff, students, and trustees, has begun the search for a new president. They will be working with search firm AGB Search, based in Washington, DC (http://agbsearch.com/).

They will be working with Principal Jamie Ferrare, and consultants Loren Anderson and Julie Tea. Anderson will be the lead consultant; he has recently ended his tenure as the President of Pacific Lutheran University in Seattle and as such, is familiar with the GTU. He is excited at the prospect of working with PSR, and in particular noted that our current revisioning process puts us in the forefront of this work throughout higher education.

The Search Committee has had their initial conversation with him, and plan to bring him to campus in late September to meet with as many of the important constituencies on campus as possible. They have also begun assembling information and doing other important groundwork to make the most of his time while he is here.
