This spring, PSR will launch our new Center for Spiritual & Social Transformation. In this video, students, faculty, & trustees talk about why we need the new Center, and how it will change the world.

  1. I’m curious how this will work. Is something that clergy have to pay for in order to benefit from the program? Is this a degree? Or is this a symposium for clergy to come together and brainstorm ideas?

  2. That’s a very good question, Pamela, thanks for asking it! The new Center will bring a variety of things to PSR that will encompass all those elements.

We are offering a new MA degree, as well as a new certificate, which will require tuition if you’re interested in earning either. Alongside those programs, however, we will have many free & low-cost options, including lectures, workshops, and conferences that clergy could take part in (as we have been doing for some time).

The symposium is in its early stages, so it will be changing and growing in the years to come, but this first year will be about connecting people in the faith community with people involved in social entrepreneurship to brainstorm how those two sectors can work together to create world change. There will be a cost for the symposium that has yet to be determined, but in coming years, there is the possibility for things like scholarships and grants to be offered, for those who would like to attend, but fund the cost prohibitive.

We are absolutely open to people’s thoughts on what they’d like to see PSR doing as it moves forward, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to send an email to
