How to Apply
The Admissions Committee assesses applications in terms of the seminary's ability to meet the applicant's expressed academic and professional needs, the applicant's commitment to strengthening the work of religious communities in the world, the likelihood that the candidate will succeed in the program, and the candidate's potential contribution to the PSR community.
Applications for all programs, except the GTU Common MA, are accepted throughout the year, but candidates whose applications are complete (with all necessary transcripts, test scores, and letters of reference) by the priority deadlines receive priority consideration for housing, financial aid and scholarships. The GTU does not have rolling admission and will not consider MA applications submitted after the deadlines.
- Fall Admission Priority Deadline: February 1
- Spring Admission Priority Deadline: October 1
Students who do not meet the minimum GPA or previous degree requirements may be admitted to the MTS, MDiv, or MAST programs with provisional status at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Taking a Class at PSR
Enrolling in a degree or certificate program is not the only way to take a class at PSR. The public is welcome to explore these options for attending courses at PSR.
Use the application checklist to keep track of your application and financial aid requirements.
