How to Enroll in the January Intersession Program
To browse a list of courses offered during January Intersession, visit the online GTU Master Course Schedule and choose the appropriate term and year.
If you are not already enrolled in a PSR degree or certificate program for the current academic year, you may enroll in January Intersession courses as a "special student" (for academic credit) or as an auditor (no academic credit). You will need to: 1) submit an application form, 2) pay appropriate fees, and 3) complete the course registration process (see below).
If you are a PSR degree or certificate student enrolled full-time in the fall or admitted to begin in the full time in spring, you do not need to submit an additional application in order to enroll in January Intersession classes. Just register online via WebAdvisor. All Intersession courses are charged at your normal tuition rate with normal scholarship or financial aid rates applied.
Application Process for non-current students

If you do not already have status as a special student at PSR, and you wish to enroll in an Intersession class for credit, complete an online Special Student Application or request one through the PSR Office of Recruitment and Admissions in Holbrook 135 in person, by e-mail at admissions[at]psr[dot]edu, or by phone at 510/849-8253. Note that applications require up to two weeks for processing. Once you receive approval from the Admissions Office, follow the directions for course registration below.
If you are not already a student and you wish to "sit in" a class for no credit, complete an online Application to Audit or request one through the registrar in Holbrook 135 in person, by e-mail at registrar[at]psr[dot]edu, or by phone at 510/849-8252. Once you receive approval from the registrar, follow the directions for course registration below.
Make arrangements with the PSR Business Office to pay for your January Intersession courses before the first day of class. You will be registered and billed upon approval of application. Make all checks payable to "Pacific School of Religion." To make your payment, contact the Business Office.
PSR alumni/ae may register as special students and take one course per year for credit at a special discounted fee. Otherwise, the cost is at the regular per credit rate for that year. PSR alumni/ae may also audit PSR courses at much reduced tuition rate. See "Tuition and Fees" for these rates.
Continuing students only: Please see the Academic Calendar for Early and General Registration dates. Detailed instructions for registering online are posted outside of Room 135 in the Holbrook Building.
Special students, auditors, new students, and continuing students who miss early registration: You can register until the day your January Intersession class starts via WebAdvisor by the first day of class. Please contact the registrar if you do not have a WebAdvisor code.
If you wish to take a course that required a PIN*, please obtain the course PIN from the instructor via email and follow the instructions on how to register. The format and content of your e-mail should follow the instructions for contacting instructors of restricted courses.
