Free screening and discussion: "A Church Divided"

A free screening of A Church Divided, a new documentary presented by the Center for Investigative Reporting and KQED that follows California delegates to the United Methodist Church's 2012 global convention in Tampa, Fla. There, church leaders discussed and voted on the future of the church and its official policy relating to gays and lesbians.

PSR Professor of Ethics, Rev. Randall Miller and Rev. Karen Oliveto of Glide Memorial UMC will be participating in a panel discussion with KQED host Scott Schafer after the screening.

To be held at Delancey Street Theater, 600 The Embarcadero, San Francisco.

Tickets are free, but they are asking folks to register for the event, so they can get an accurate head count.
