PSR’s Community Chapel is held at 11:10 am most Tuesdays during the school year simultaneously via Zoom and in-person at the Badè Museum on the PSR campus. It is an opportunity for the entire PSR community to come together for spiritual and theological nourishment.

Scripture: Mark 4:1-8 “The Parable of the Sower”
Natalie Janine Gates, preaching
Bio: Natalie Janine was raised in the church, where she enjoyed playing church games and spending time with friends. She developed a deep understanding of the Bible and her faith, giving her first sermon at the age of ten on the scripture “Ask, Seek, and Knock.” This early experience ignited her passion for discussing her faith and God.
In college, Natalie Janine and her mother, Lisa Gates, sought a new church and found a home at Ainsworth United Church of Christ.
Natalie Janine has cherished being part of a denomination that is open and affirming, Black affirming, diverse, and embraces the Rebel Jesus. Natalie Janine loves calling Jesus a rebel because He championed justice and rights for all, a belief she shares.
Natalie Janine is pursuing her second Master’s in Divinity at the Pacific School of Religion. She is a TEDx speaker and freedom coach, who helps women land better paying jobs.
