Jennifer is the Executive Director of Faith In Action Bay Area, part of the PICO National Network, the largest faith-based community organizing network in the country. From a young age, Jennifer has felt a call to live in the intersection between social justice work and spiritual practice. That call led Jennifer to become an organizer 15 years ago where her work has focused on racial and economic justice issues. She has a BA from Stanford University and a PhD from the University of Nottingham, England. Jennifer’s graduate research focused on social movement strategies in the struggle for housing and land rights in Venezuela and South Africa, and in 2011, her PhD won the British International Studies Association thesis of the year award.
