Director of Program Operations


La Tronda received a BA degree in Psychology from UC Irvine.  Her professional career started in public child welfare after completing a Master’s degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley.  Shortly thereafter, in order to address the growing concerns of youth transitioning out of the foster care and probation systems, she established a nonprofit community-based organization offering education, employment & training that prepared them for independence beyond emancipation.  After working in youth development and mental health for more than fifteen years, she obtained another master’s degree in Business Administration from Mills College.  She then began a new career in business management and worked in corporate America as a Senior Business Analyst and later as a Financial Consultant. Her expertise lies in organizational development and operations management.  She enjoys operational and strategic planning, organizational goal setting and implementation.  She is currently pursuing a PhD in Integral & Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
