Supply Pastor (Part-Time)
First Congregational UCC of Ashland is looking for a part-time pastor to bridge the staffing gap between our Associate Minister’s departure June 30 and our next staffing configuration. We anticipate this being a 2-3-month position, beginning as early as July 1, 2019.
We are a progressive Protestant Christian community of faith and service. Central to our faith is our belief that Christ calls us to participate in God’s reign of justice, peace, and compassion on earth. Through ministries that are Transforming, Reconciling and Equipping, we are “together following Jesus on the Way of Radical Love.”
Candidates will demonstrate a shared commitment to extravagant welcome, justice and equity, as our church is a spiritual home for beautifully diverse groups of people. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or class.
The Part-Time Supply Pastor is a transitional pastoral position that bridges the gap between the retirement of our Associate Minister June 30, 2019, and whatever staffing configuration is determined will be needed to fill the resulting staffing vacancies. The Supply Pastor will supplement the professional pastoral ministry of the church.
Position will be part-time, 15-20 hours per week, during July and August 2019.
