At Pacific School of Religion, you will join a group of changemakers who create boldly! Our degree and certificate programs give you the tools, network, and knowledge to make the world a better place.

Radical inclusion

Ecumenical since our founding in 1866, Pacific School of Religion is a multidenominational seminary and center for social justice with strong ties to the United Church of Christ; the United Methodist Church, approved by the United Methodist University Senate; and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in partnership with the Disciples Seminary Foundation.

Pacific School of Religion students also ascribe to traditions as varied as Quaker, Buddhist, Unitarian Universalist, Muslim, the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, the African Methodist Episcopal Church, new religious movements, and those who identify as “spiritual but not religious.” We offer a welcoming community built on mutual respect.
